Infinite Nectar

Drink it in. Breathe it out.
Catalog of the Universe
Welcome to the home of Infinite Nectar, the art portfolio of Kara Callahan. Infinite Nectar was so named through the affirmation of the infinite sources of nectar in our lives that will rejuvenate and renew us, if only we open our eyes and feel the beauty that is all around us. Kara found nectar in photography long ago and discovered her love of writing through giving voice to her photographs. She hopes you will be inspired to find your own creative voice as you explore her website.

Biography
Kara Callahan, Biography
In 2010, Kara's inner artist was re-awakened through what some would call a very bad year. In that period, she made a conscious decision to channel her angst into creating a vital livelihood, one day at a time. Inspired by her love of photography and writing, she wrote a poem a day for 30 days to correspond with photographs she had taken. As she gave the images a voice, she discovered her own voice in the process. It was during this time that she realized that art and the creative process had re-fueled, nourished and sustained her through many major life changes and initiations. It has since become her meditative practice and way of connecting with a higher power. Through the process, she's discovered that it's not just her love of artistry that transforms her; it is the mere act of creating. She hopes that you too will discover your inner artist and your own sources of infinite nectar in your life.

Kara has sat with Ansel Adams, Rodin, Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, and Alex Grey while swearing she will never been the same. She knows a great piece of art by the way it reverberates through every wall of her being, creating surges of ecstasy, breathlessness, deep transformational healing. Through these experiences, she has seen and felt how deeply healing and transformative art can be. When she is in need of nourishment, you will find her hiking or exploring with her camera ever-ready, editing her photographs, and/or writing poetry; all in one continuous creative process. She shares her work with you in hopes that you too are replenished. Kara also provides healing arts services to help you find your own authentic creative process that can reveal the inner artist and spiritual master within you.
